Cranford 9/11 Memorial Ceremony
Chief Czeh and members of the Cranford Fire Department once again assisted in getting 9/11 Memorial Park ready for Cranford’s annual ceremony. The members of the department donate time and manpower every year to ensure the park is ready for the solemn event. The Cranford Fire Department was requested to respond into Staten Island that fateful day. Those members responded to all emergencies in that borough so that all FDNY members could respond to Ground Zero. Cranford Fire and Cranford Police also sent personnel to Ground Zero as part of the NJ USAR Task Force to assist in search and recovery efforts.
