(above) On Saturday September 24th, “Coffee with the Mayor” was held at Mara’s Cafe in Fanwood, the second informal session hosted by Mayor Colleen Mahr to chat with any residents who want to show up to discuss various issues. Residents heard updates of various Fanwood issues from Carol Campbell, President of Friends of the Fanwood Library, Council members Kathy Mitchell and Tom Kranz, Mayor Mahr, Fanwood historian Joe Nagy and Deborah Kane of the Plainfield Municipal Utilities Authority which is launching curbside recycling in Fanwood.
