Honoring First Aid Squad

Clark’s Volunteer Emergency Squad members were invited to the May 15, 2023 Town Council meeting where Mayor Sal Bonaccorso delivered a proclamation commemorating National Emergency Medical Services Week.
CVES Squad President, J.H. Barr was on hand with his team to accept the proclamation. “Mayor, I just want to thank you and the Council and everyone who was able to recognize our squad,” he said. “We do work hard. We do a very difficult job, but we enjoy doing it and we will continue to do it with your support.”
“The squad is out there for this community around the clock in all sorts of weather taking care of those in need. These are the people caring for our loved ones in times of emergency. It is important that we recognize these volunteers, not just in this national week of acknowledgement as they provide a very crucial service to the community,” said Mayor Bonaccorso after the meeting. “It is also important that we support them when they are fundraising for their organization because we need them.”
