16th Annual Italian American Fest
Clark UNICO held the 16th Annual Italian American Feast. Thousands of people swarmed the Clark municipal grounds to partake in great food – great entertainment – rides – games, etc. for the four-day festival. Despite cool temps and a rainy Saturday – residents and UNICANS enjoyed this Clark tradition.
Clark UNICO is an Italian-American organization that strives to incorporate our unique Italian heritage and culture into the lives of our members and surrounding communities. In accomplishing this, we organize and run countless community related and Italian-centered events throughout the year. Some of these events consist of but are not limited to our trips to Dyker Heights in Brooklyn, New York to view their Christmas light displays, Arthur Avenue in Bronx, New York, mozzarella and wine making lessons, and of course our Annual Clark Unico Italian Festival. In addition to the heritage-based events, we also strive to give back within our local communities, which can be emphasized by our motto, “Service Above Self”. In contributing towards the greater good, we as an organization volunteer for different causes and make much needed contributions to the local sporting clubs and leagues of Clark. Furthermore, we sponsor annual scholarships for well deserving high school seniors that reside in the town of Clark, have Italian lineage, and are seeking to continue their academic education.
