Clark Recreation Camp
Township of Clark
Clark Summer Recreation Camp averages over 800 campers a day for fun-filled activities. Children started the third week of camp climbing rock walls, creating ceramics, playing laser-tag, enjoying a juggler and participating in other sports and games.
“There is always something age-appropriate to do here,” said Recreation Director Ralph Bernardo. “The kids are having a blast and so are we. Even the rain showers on some mornings this week couldn’t stop our fun.”
Throughout the week each grade level had a chance to tie-dye a shirt. It’s an annual tradition at camp and a kind of rite of passage for local kids to have an array of tie-dye shirts of all colors and sizes by the time they end middle school.
The week ended, as it always does, with water day. The Clark FD was on hand for a weekly splash down, along with giant water slides and a DJ.
