If you have a young, reluctant or struggling reader, we want you to meet our therapy dogs! They are non-judgmental listeners and furry friends to read to that won’t laugh if your child makes a mistake or stumbles over a word. Children learn to associate reading with being with the dog, and begin to view reading in a positive way. Over time, the child’s reading ability and confidence can improve because they are practicing their skills. Children will each get approximately 15 minutes of reading time with Bubble, Magnolia, or Sophie.
