Brownie Troops 41921 and 40508 help earthquake victims

Clark Brownies help earthquake victims

Clark Brownie Troops 41921 and 40508 recently collect donations for the earthquake victims in Turkey.

The collection was initiated by scouts Olivia and Natalia Ata. The girls’ father, Özgür, was born and raised in Turkey. Although the Ata’s hometown was spared devastation, the family decided to gather items for those in need. This selfless act inspired fellow members of Troops 41921 and 40508, who also made contributions.

If you would like to help, donations can bedropped off directly to PORTX, Inc, 256 Paterson Plank Road, Carlstadt, NJ. The girls suggest: toilet paper, baby wipes, diapers, powdered formula, water, blankets, first aid items, canned goods, new clothing and shoes.
