Clark Boy Scout Troop 145 Donates Sandwiches for St. Agnes’s Sandwich Drive

Clark Boy Scout Troop 145 Donates Sandwiches

Scout Troop 145 of Clark, NJ rallied together while social distancing to make approximately 270 sandwiches for St. Agnes’s sandwich drive benefiting the St. Joseph’s Food Pantry in Elizabeth, NJ. Each volunteer Scout was given a loaf of bread and a pound of meat and cheese donated by the Troop to make individually wrapped sandwiches.

Ted McKeown, Scoutmaster, said of the service project, “We are proud of our Scouts and parents for donating their time and effort when people in our community need the help the most.”

Troop 145 would like to thank St. Agnes for this opportunity and recognize the boys who worked on this project: Alex Marshall, Anderson Schieferstein, Andrew Silvestri, Brett Garcia, Chris Bacek, Dante and Xander Cistaro, Dillon Cahill, Erie Lugo, Giancarlo Gioffre, Jack Costello, Jason Lamendola, John Fleckenstein, Kevin Quain, Luke Ashley, Matt Kleczynski, Matt, Dan and Bob Vill, Nicholas Zotos, Nick Merola, Ryan Crowley, Ryan Fizer, Sebastian Garcia, and Zak and Nick Raab.

Julianna Cistaro, a Girl Scout from Troop 40537, and Alicia Bolen also donated sandwiches via Troop 145.

Boy Scout Troop 145 is an active Troop of young men who dedicate themselves to the values of Scouting while learning and having fun in a safe environment. Scouting teaches leadership, citizenship and volunteerism, as well as appreciation for the outdoors. Most of the Scouts in Troop 145 achieve the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout.
