New Officers of Clark American Legion Auxiliary

The 2019-2020 Clark American Legion Auxiliary officers were installed during a dinner held on May 17, 2019.

The officers are as follows:  President, Tammi Angelo; Vice President, Karen Fink; Treasurer, Kathleen Switek; Sargent -at-arms, Maureen Riley; Chaplain, Jody Burns; and Historian, Kim Broadwell.  The secretary, Margaret Alago, is an appointed position.

This year has been a busy one for the Auxiliary with many events and fundraisers.  The year started with a community meet and greet in October. An open house invited community members to visit Post 328, learn about the Auxiliary, and celebrate our 70 years of service with birthday cake.  The ladies hosted three football breakfasts and will host a baseball breakfast on June 30th when the N Y Yankees play the Boston Red Sox in London. Unit 328 also held a steak dinner and a Pasta Night.  The Auxiliary visited Lyons VA Hospital for a craft and dinner party with the lady veterans there. The organization also placed memorial wreaths at the site of Clark’s Veterans and Memorial Day services.  Two high school Juniors were sent to Girls State Convention in 2018 at Georgian Court College and two Juniors are slated to attend in 2019. The fiscal years ends with the American Legion Auxiliary Convention in June in Wildwood, NJ.

As you can see the year was full of events that promote our mission of community and service. The new officers look forward to another year as productive as this past one.
