The City of Summit’s 70th Annual Fourth of July Celebration will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at Soldiers Memorial Field, located at 5 Myrtle Avenue. The day-long celebration will include entertainment, rides and amusements, as well as an expanded food truck festival.
The day will begin with the Flag Raising Ceremony at 9:45 a.m., followed by the children’s decorated bicycle parade at 10 a.m. Rides, amusements, and children’s entertainment will continue until 1 p.m., when Memorial Field will close to set up for evening activities.
The evening’s festivities will begin at 6 p.m. and will include rides, entertainment, and the food truck festival. Jam with Jamie will perform an interactive music concert at 6:30 p.m., followed by Daddy Pop in Concert at 7:30 p.m. The night will close with the spectacular fireworks display, beginning at 9:15 p.m.
