January 5th is the 2nd anniversary of the conception of Rahway’s made up Holiday, “Cinco”, which as its name suggests, is celebrated on the 5th of every month.
“Ideas are created and connections are made in social situations. Cinco brings people together on a regular basis and from these events, community is created and Rahway is made better. I can’t believe how many people look forward to our event every month!”, Who knew we would still be going two years later said co-conceivers Amy Garcia Phillips and Ann Marie Williams. Sometimes Cinco follows a theme like December’s “End of Prohibition” celebrated at Luciano’s Restaurant.
