Chelsea at Warren and Mt. Bethel Village Collect Toys for Deserving Families

Chelsea Senior Living in Warren hosted a joint effort with Mt. Bethel Village in Warren, a residence and day program for adults with special needs, to bring a touch of holiday magic to needy families. Over 70 toys were collected by both organizations to benefit the Pregnancy Aid Center in Raritan, N.J. The event was organized by Toni Daniels, Lifestyle Director at Chelsea, with the support of Ashley Scalzo, Executive Director at Chelsea. The Mt. Bethel Village contingent was spearheaded by Lee Ann Gattorno, Program Director, with the full support from Carolann Garafola, MBV Executive Director, who also serves as Warren’s Mayor.
The event was held at Chelsea on December 21st and the toys were distributed by individuals from MBV on December 22nd. Staff, families and seniors from both facilities approached this worthwhile cause with the spirit of giving that defines the Holiday season. Everyone hopes that this becomes a joint effort for years to come!
