Chatham Township Online Survey Solicits Community Interest in Train Shuttle Service

The Chatham Township Committee, in an effort to address resident concerns related to the limited parking options at area train stations, launched an online survey to determine the interest for a privately-run commuter shuttle service to the Chatham Borough and Summit train stations. Residents can take the brief survey, which was prepared in conjunction with TransOptions, at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/WSHWWSH. The survey will be open through October 4, 2018.

Mayor Curt Ritter, speaking on behalf of the Committee, said, “In an effort to address the perennial parking issues Chatham Township residents face when trying to park at the Chatham Borough and Summit train stations, we are looking to solve for this issue by evaluating the interest for a commuter shuttle service. If residents are frustrated with always trying to find a parking spot, I ask that they take a moment to take this brief survey and share it with their neighbors and friends. This survey is yet another example of the Township Committee’s ongoing efforts to solve for problems and concerns facing our residents.”
