Free Tax Preparation by appointment on Fridays, March 9 and 23; and April 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. AARP trained volunteers will complete your tax returns and file them electronically. Foods for a Healthy Brain. Tuesday, March 13 at 12:45 p.m. Our Nutrition Series continues with a discussion about foods and nutrients that are good for promoting brain health and for preventing cognitive decline. Cooking demonstration and tastings too! Speaker: Heather Gerding, 2nd degree student at the College of Saint Elizabeth in the Nutrition and Dietetics concentration. Please call to sign up.

Fiction Book Club. Tuesday, March 20 at noon. This month’s selection is “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng. New members always welcome to join in the discussion.
Nonfiction Book Group. Friday, March 23 at 11 a.m. This month’s selection is “Devil in the Grove” by Gilbert King. New members welcome.
Free Craft Project. Monday, March 26, 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. “Think Spring!” and paint your own flower pot. Materials and refreshments provided by Touching Hearts at Home, Gillette, New Jersey. Must call to sign up.
Ping Pong. Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Recently added to our calendar of regularly scheduled activities. One table available. Paddles and balls provided.
Stroke Prevention. Monday, March 5, noon. Cardiologist, Coleen M. Coughlin, MD, FACC, will discuss stroke risk factors, how to recognize the signs and symptoms, prevention through healthy lifestyle approaches, as well as the latest treatments for stroke.
