Chatham Emergency Squad Blood Drive – September 8th

The Chatham Emergency Squad will be hosting a blood drive in conjunction with the Chatham Sustainability Fair/Farmer’s Market on Saturday, September 8th.  The farmer’s market is in the south parking lot of the Chatham Train Station.  Hours of donation will be from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Donors, ages 17 – 76, should be in good health and have a form of identification.  Sixteen year olds may donate with parental permission – forms will be available on-site.  Anyone with donation questions or who like to make a reserved donation time can call the NY Blood Center at 800.688.0900.

Blood donations typically fall during the summer while the need remains high.  Additionally, local blood may find its way across the nation to areas with extreme need due to natural disasters or extreme medical emergencies.

Thank you for your assistance in providing critical blood donations.
