CDC Theatre 2021-2022 Season
The Cranford Dramatic Club (CDC Theatre) will open their 2021-2022 season in October with Neil Simon’s RUMORS, directed by Zach Mazouat, then our holiday show in December with a new piece by Mike Burdick and Sean Lough titled FROSTED, ANOTHER FROZEN FAIRYTALE directed by Ken and Mary Webb. The new year opens in February with A CHORUS LINE, directed and choreographed by Michael Kidney, and we close out in May with IN THE HEIGHTS, directed by Howard Whitmore! Our mission is to provide quality, affordable live theater to New Jersey residents and to encourage the development and appreciation of the theatre arts. Created in 1919 by ten women inspired by the success of an original play, we are very proud to be one of the longest running community theatre groups in the state of New Jersey. With a 250-seat auditorium, we are also one of the largest.

VOLUNTEER
Can you work a sewing machine? Are you Picasso with a paintbrush? The Cranford Dramatic Club is always looking for dependable volunteers. Whether you have an hour a week, an hour a month, or an hour a year to spare, we can find a volunteering opportunity to fit your particular schedule and skill set.
We have no required experience, fees, or membership dues for anyone on or backstage. We stand committed to casting people of color in any role that will showcase their talent, to producing works by playwrights of all races, faiths, genders, and sexual orientations, and to inviting all people in our diverse communities to join us onstage or behind the scenes in volunteering to express our collective voices and stories.
Volunteering opportunities include, but are not limited to, production crew (set building, painting, and dressing, running crew, stage managing) and front of house (concessions, ushers, ticket sales, and marketing).
