Carl H. Kumpf Middle School Creates Online Art Gallery

Kumpf Middle School Online Art Gallery

Submitted by Christine Casale Broski

Tommy Peitz, Art Teacher at Carl H. Kumpf Middle School in Clark, has created an online art gallery for his students’ work to be displayed. The gallery, a tool used to connect the community during this time of social distancing, features work from sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students.

Peitz stated, “I know the students were really looking forward to going to the Union County Teen Arts Festival this year. In order for the students to have a chance to show their work without social gathering, creating this website seemed to be the right direction. I am happy for the students to have their work shown to the Clark community while also maintaining social distancing. The site also serves as the CHK art bulletin board so student-work made in class and made remotely are shown as well.”

Check out the students’ work through visiting clarkschools.org/chkart/home.
