Car Thefts Are on the Rise

Car theft has spiked in New Jersey, increasing roughly 25% year to date over 2021 numbers.There are many basic ways to keep your vehicle safe, such as locking your doors, removing your keys from the vehicle, closing the windows, parking in well-lit areas and installing anti-theft devices, immobilizer systems and tracking technology.Please be on the lookout for any suspicious persons at all hours of the day; if you see groups of individuals walking up and down streets, peering into vehicles, or trying door handles, please call the police so we can respond and investigate further. If you hear any noises during early morning hours, or if your pets alert you that they detect someone outside your house, please call us so we can check the area out.
