Calvary Lutheran Church is holding a Mattress Fundraiser. That’s right – a mattress fundraiser. On Sunday, September 23, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Calvary’s Fellowship Hall will turn into a Mattress showroom. The fundraiser offers all size mattresses – Twin, Full, Queen, and King – from popular brand names at up 50% off retail price. Firm, Orthopedic, Memory Foam and other options will be offered. They all come with a full factory warranty. Layaway and delivery are available.
Every purchase benefits Jersey Battered Women’s Services or Lutheran Haven, a home for residents with mental health needs. You can also buy a mattress and donate it directly to either organization.
Calvary’s Mattress Fundraiser is part of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America’s (ELCA) “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday. “For we can do far more when God’s power is at work within us then when we try on our own.” (Ephesians 3:20)
