This summer the Burnet Middle School Title I Summer Enrichment Program continued their efforts to beautify their school environment by creating a mural that included book titles that were read during the school year. The students with their Art Teacher, Mrs. Diane Esquivel, utilized the skills that were learned in the summer art program to complete this project. The Title 1 program will continue during the 2017-18 School year.
Mrs. Patricia Frazier, Title 1 Coordinator at Burnet, believes that “in creating a positive school climate, students produce and help maintain this culture to breed success. The school and school community interaction harbors great success in our students’ futures.”
