Brian Piccolo Awards

Clark UNICO bestowed several high school athletes with the Brian Piccolo award at a brunch ceremony on Sunday, April 24 at the Gran Centurions.

The award is given to high school athletes in pursuit of higher education and who demonstrate qualities similar to Brian Piccolo such as courage, friendship, loyalty, teamwork, dedication, humor and anti-bias.    

Applicants to the scholarship much be graduating high school student athletes with both academic and athletic achievements. They must also participate in community service and have one parent or grandparent of Italian heritage.

This year’s winners include Anthony Cundari, Tatum Dobbins and Nicholas Pingor. Each was awarded a $1,000 scholarship.
