The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 328 at Westfield Avenue, Clark, will host breakfast sandwiches on February 17, 2019. Starting at 8:30 a.m. the ladies of the Auxiliary will cook to order a sandwich of bacon or sausage with egg and cheese. Sandwiches are $6.00 each. The Legion Post has six televisions, so diners can watch the news or sporting events. They also have a great jukebox offering just about any kind of music you can think of. Come and join the fun.
This fundraiser enables the Auxiliary to travel to Lyons Hospital to host a craft and pizza night with the women veterans staying there. These “parties” are very popular with the women of Lyons and much fun for the Auxiliary too. Some of the crafts offered in the past have been creating bracelets, necklaces, picture frames, and other fun crafts. Pizza and sandwiches with cookies and soft drinks are enjoyed by all.
