Bishop Daniel E. Hicklin, Sr. honored

Scotch Plains Township

Mayor Josh Losardo recently presented a proclamation to Bishop Daniel E. Hicklin, Sr. who served the Scotch Plains community as pastor of Mount Sinai Alpha and Omega Church of Christ for an astonishing 54 years. Bishop Hicklin has made a profound impact on the lives of countless individuals and has fostered a sense of belonging, love and faith. The church is fortunate to have been led by Bishop Hicklin and by his son, Pastor Dale Hicklin, Sr., who now leads the church. “Bishop Hicklin is an honorable man of integrity, courage and faith,” Losardo said. “The Township of Scotch Plains extends warm appreciation to Bishop Hicklin for his tremendous service and many contributions to the Scotch Plains community.”
