Art Classes for Adults at Warren Library

Library customers enjoyed a winter-themed afternoon painting session at the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey’s (SCLSNJ) Warren Township branch. The acrylic painting class was led by Adult Services Librarian Genevieve Girvan.

“This casual step-by-step art lesson gave participants the tools to explore their creativity,” said Girvan. “Attendees learned how to blend acrylics, paint reflections, and add shadows to create dimension in their paintings as light snow flurries fell outside the library.”

The next art class for adults will be hosted at the Warren branch on April 4 at 2 p.m. Participants will learn basic embroidery stitches and create an embroidered constellation; all materials will be supplied: https://sclsnj.libnet.info/event/5853778.
