The Diversity Committee of New Providence is sponsoring a talk on ‘Basics of Islam – A Personal Experience And Viewpoint’ on Saturday, September 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the New Providence Library, located at 377 Elkwood Avenue.
The speaker will be Diversity Committee Member Leo Piovan. Leo is a graduate of an Italian college and of Johns Hopkins University. Now retired, in his professional life he was a licensed international logistics administrator. His travels included the countries of Iran, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Egypt and Turkey.
