AYLUS Warren Branch cleans up Washington Valley Park
Submitted by Stanley Liu
The AYLUS Warren Branch spent a day cleaning up the Washington Valley Park in Bridgewater this summer. We got this idea while reading an article about visitors leaving trash and using drugs at the park. The situation got so out of hand that officials were thinking of shutting down the area. In response, we coordinated with some of our branch members located in Bridgewater and put together a team. We went through the trails, collecting a wide assortment of trash, such as bottles, plastic bags, and wrappers. Given that hiking has become a favorite pastime for our residents, we encourage people to help maintain a clean park.
