School-age Storytime

Tuesday afternoons in April at 4:30 p.m.

Children in grades K-3 are invited for an afternoon storytime where we’ll share some exceptional books and create art. No registration required.

Family Storytime and Craft

Monday, April 24 at 10:15 a.m.

Join us for an all-ages storytime and craft. No registration required. 

Earth Day: Speak for the Trees

Thursday, April 27 at 5:30 p.m.

Let’s Help Save the Earth, one Tree at a time! Children in grades 1-3 are invited to help the Earth by reducing, reusing, and recycling. Craft Programs

Paint a flower pot on Friday, April 21 at 4:00 p.m.

Storytime at Hanson Park

We’re hosting a series of outdoor storytimes starting in May! Children and a caregiver are invited to join us for a morning of stories and songs. Preschoolers ages 3-5 are welcome on Monday mornings at 9:30 a.m. from May 1 to July 10. Babies and toddlers ages 0-2 are invited on Thursday mornings at 9:30 a.m. from May 4 to July 13. There is no storytime on May 29 or June 19.  While these events are tailored to the specified ages, children of all ages are welcome. Please bring a blanket or chair to sit on. This storytime will be held at Hanson Park, weather permitting.

Toddler Tuesday

Tuesday Mornings at 10:15 a.m.

Join us for a toddler storytime every Tuesday morning in May! This program meets at 10:15 a.m. and each session will incorporate stories and a hands-on activity. Registration is not required, but space is limited and may be unavailable to latecomers.

Pajama Storytime

Thursday, May 4th from 6:00- 6:45 p.m.

Friends in grades K-2 are invited to listen to a story and make some crafts! Join us in the library, no registration required. Pajamas are welcome!

Fiber Critters

Wednesday, May 10 at 6:00 p.m.

Create a creature using wool. This program is for children in grades 2 and up. We’ll be using a wet felting technique that does not require needles. Registration is required and can be done online:eventbrite.com/e/fiber-critters-tickets-568766916157

Geronimo Stilton Book Club

May 11th from 5:30-6:30pm

Friends in grades 2-4 are invited to dress-up as a mouse for a silly Geronimo Stilton book club! We will be talking about A Fabumouse Vacation for Geronimo and playing fun games. The first six readers to register will receive a free copy of the book, library staff will reach out when the books are ready for pickup. “Paws” for Reading

Tuesday, April 18 or May 16 at 6:30 p.m.

Young readers are invited to hone their skills by reading to certified therapy dogs. Dogs are a perfect, non-judgmental audience for children learning to read independently! No advance registration required.

Tween Spa Night

Tweens (ages 9-11) are invited for an evening of creating fun, spa-themed goodies! DIY your own natural lip balm, learn to make bath bombs, and hang out with friends. Family Pretzel Dipping
