AP History And 5th Grade Collaboration On The 13 Colonies
Mr. Farrell’s Seniors from Rahway High School made a special trip to Madison School. They visited Ms. Farrell’s 5th grade classroom, where she teaches reading, writing, and social studies. Mr. Farrell’s seniors helped Ms. Farrell’s students revise and edit their research papers on the 13 Colonies. Mr. Farrell’s students were very eager to share their knowledge of US History and their expertise on crafting essays. At the same time, it was an excellent way for Ms. Farrell’s 5th graders to improve their skills, learn about what the high school has to offer, and gain role models.
