In conjunction with New Jersey’s yearly “Week of Respect,” the students at Arthur L. Johnson High School ran a “Can Drive.” The school community responded with big hearts, collecting more than 15 large boxes of food just in time to distribute for the holidays.

The food was donated to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, located in Hillside. As Jack Helm, ALJ junior and student ambassador for the Food Bank, said, “The Community Food Bank Ambassador Program is a great way to get the students and community involved in a positive way for a great cause.”
