Policemen and Firemen’s Association Local 3

The Retired Policemen and Firemen’s Association, Local 3 hosted a presentation by “A Partnership for Change”, at their January meeting. Susan Gleason and Lisa Palmermo, Training Specialist and Program and Outreach Coordinator spoke to the group. They covered Ending Family Violence, Teen Dating, Bullying and texting harassment with teens.

Local 3 made a donation to their non-profit organization to help them to continue this excellent program. If anyone is interested in having “A Partnership for Change” speak at your local school, contact either Lisa or Susan at (908) 358-5047, (732) 618-3156.

The Retired Policemen and Firemen’s Association (NJRPFA) Local 3, is comprised of members from  of Union and Somerset counties. Monthly meetings are held at the Kenilworth VFW.

The NJRPFA was established in 1987 to promote and develop a friendly spirit among its members, both retired and associate members. There are over 3,000 members of the association in various county Locals in NJ, as well as Local 22 in the State of Florida. These members are retirees from State, County and Local Firefighters, Police, Sheriff, Prosecutors, and Attorney General’s Office to name a few. These members reside in NJ, NY, PA, FL, VA, SC and many other states.
