A MESSAGE FROM CLARK SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS

Dear Members of the Clark Community,
The most remarkable aspect of being an educator is that each September we get to start anew, building on the strengths of the past but making the necessary adjustments to become even stronger as we move ahead. I am beyond excited for the impending opening of our new school year. I would be remiss if I did not thank our twelve-month and ten-month/two-week administrators and support staff for all of their diligent work this summer. Their efforts are a central reason why we will be ready for an outstanding beginning. Our maintenance team led by Mr. John Pingor is deserving of a special acknowledgement for their preparation of our buildings and grounds. They were engaged in a number of projects this summer that will provide our students and staff with enhanced facilities for years to come. The importance of this physical upkeep of our schools should never be devalued.
Schools will reopen for students on Tuesday, September 6. This first day of school is always a most special one and one that we, as a school district, are excited for. Getting to see a large number of our parents and guardians at our various Back-to-School Nights will be equally rewarding. ALJ’s is scheduled for Monday, September 19, CHK’s for Thursday, September 22, CPA’s for Monday, September 26, VRS’s for Tuesday, September 27, and FKH’s for Wednesday, September 28. Please know that we, as an administrative team, have an open door policy and are here to address any concerns that you may have. It is our sincere hope to continue to “inspire greatness” through the work that we do.
Respectfully yours,
Edward Grande
Superintendent of Schools
