Franklin School Loves to Read
Rahway Public Schools
Franklin Elementary School in Rahway works hard to foster a love of reading in students. Students are encouraged to read every night for at least twenty minutes and complete monthly reading logs. The school has seen that this ongoing push has really helped to enhance students’ reading skills and their interest in books. Recently, Joseph Ali-McDuffie, a second-grader from Mrs. Alicia Scipioni’s class was the proud recipient of a Kindle Fire tablet. He has been working hard. He completed his summer reading, as well as 10 reading logs. How amazing! The school is looking forward to raffling off more tablets.
