(above) Portraits of a pair of handsome brothers that once hung in the Elichko family home at 6 Mendell Avenue and now are displayed by Todd and Susan Elichko. These charming images are oil paintings over black and white photographs, believed to be grammar school graduation pictures. According to Todd, the name Elichko, was changed when his grandparents came to America from Russian Ukraine. We think it may have originally been Elishchuk.
