BSA Troop 280 Cleans Up Chatham
Submitted by Joe Basralian
Chatham BSA Troop 280 Scouts have been continuing to provide community service during the Covid-19 pandemic. While practicing social distancing, they have been cleaning parts with trash pickups throughout the Chathams. The Scouts recently filled 7 bags full of trash along the Lafayette to Washington Ave train station walking path.
BSA Troop 280 has been meeting weekly by Zoom, practicing skills and camping out with their families, while serving the community. There are 25 members of the Troop, open to girls aged 11-17. Many hope to ultimately achieve Eagle Scout rank. Contract troop280chatham@gmail.com or visit online on Facebook: Troop 280 Chatham.
