The teachers and staff at Franklin Elementary School in Rahway celebrated ‘National Healthy Heart Day’ with ‘Go Red For Women’ on Friday, February 1, 2019. They joined the nationwide movement and honored women by wearing red and donating money to this great cause to help save women’s lives. Throughout the day, they visited the nurse’s office to get their blood pressure checked. Mrs. Maher also gave them a book of delicious, heart-healthy recipes. The money that was collected will be donated to the American Heart Association.
