Members of the Rahway Garden Club have been helping our town to maintain the little postage-stamp sized park known as Arts Park located at the corner of Irving Street and Central Ave. “The Department of Public Works takes care of the operation of the park’s fountain and lighting and the heavy cleaning and our Garden Club oversees seasonal plantings, mulching, pruning and fertilizing as well as providing decorating in the holiday season” noted Garden Club President James Keane.
The Garden Club is a volunteer group whose evening monthly meetings are held at the Rahway Library, free and open to the public. No gardening is experience required! More info can be obtained by calling 732-259-8642.
