The Rahway Memorial Day Parade was held on Sunday, May 29th. The veterans in attendance were well please with the show of support from the community.
This year’s Grand Marshall was Rahway resident Robert “Bob” Horsch, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War serving from 1969-1790 with Company B Second/506 Infantry in the 101st Airborne Division, Phu Bai and Fire Support Base Ripcord.
He also belongs to the Military Order of Purple Hearts. Bob is a past Commander of Post 5 of the American Legion in Rahway.
