Roselle Park Announces New Smart-Phone App

The “My Roselle Park” APP

The Borough of Roselle Park is excited to unveil its very first smartphone app, “My Roselle Park.” Users can now download this free app in order to gain access to a number of useful tools, streamlining the flow of information from the Borough to its residents.

“I am excited about the Roselle Park app!” said Mayor Joe Signorello. “We all carry around our devices, and now at the touch of a button we have a tool to help keep the community clean, safe and increase awareness of events and services that Roselle Park has for its residents. This app is easy to use and a great resource for not only locals but visitors seeking information about our town.”

The app features a “report issue” button which allows citizens to report non-emergency issues like potholes, garbage, graffiti, code violations, and more. Once pressed, residents can describe the issue that they are seeing in real-time, as well as tag their location. They have the ability to upload a photo of that issue, and will receive an alert once it has been resolved.

App users can receive up-to-date information about amenities, local events, activities, and news. The app is connected to the Borough webpage, Facebook and Instagram accounts. By opting-in, the user can receive push notifications for when an event is happening or if a road is closed for maintenance. In the “Contact” section there is a thorough list of important phone numbers such as The Casano Community Center, Library and the Non-Emergency Police Department line.

The My Roselle Park app was developed in early 2023, and now available for free on the App Store (Apple) and Play Store (Google) for users to download. For more information about the app, please visit the Borough website at http://www.rosellepark.net/.
