The 5th Annual Greta’s Run will be held Sunday, April 22 at Roosevelt Intermediate School, 301 Clark Street, Westfield, New Jersey. Register to run, walk, roll, volunteer, donate or sponsor Greta’s Run.
Early registration is $25, and it ends April 4. The entry fee becomes $30 thereafter, and only early registrants are guaranteed race shirts. The course is USATF certified and sanctioned.
Greta’s Run is a 5K run, walk, roll, and fundraiser organized in memory of Greta Schoenemann, a Westfield High School freshman who died from injuries sustained on the first anniversary of 9/11 when a tree fell on her during lunch. Organized by Greta’s childhood friends, Jayne Ruotolo and Ben Nanna, Greta’s Run is a neighborhood centerpiece that over 1000 people of all abilities look forward to participating in annually. All proceeds benefit people with special and adaptive needs.
