The 10UB Mountainside Rebels, made up of third and fourth graders, had a 9-6 victory in the last round of the Central Jersey Fast Pitch Softball League Championships against Berkeley Heights Heat. After rescheduling due to weather, the game took place at home on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. A great team effort was led by pitchers, Lily Sandholm, Carly Pfeiffer, and Liv Steinmetz.
The team was coached by Bill Dillon and assisted by Don Steinmetz, Chris Pipher, Christine Pfeiffer, and Dennis McCabe.
The majority of the team will continue playing together in this summer’s District 2 Parkway League which began on June 11, 2018.
