The Woman’s Club of Berkeley Heights enjoyed a wonderful end of year lunch at La Pastaria in Summit on May 21st. Member Claire Stang, gave a perfect introduction and the 2024-26 officers were installed with grace and style. The Club is beyond lucky to have these dedicated women for another term. They are ready to steer us through new NJSFWC President, Barbara McCloskey’s theme, “Together in Service-United in Friendship.”

Phyllis McEnroe, Sue Doyle, Diana Wilfrid displayed their Achievement Day entries. Diana Wilfrid received Gold for her handmade necklace and a second place for her Iris watercolor. Sue received a first place for her floral abstract watercolor. Phyllis received a second place for her Amaryllis photo and necklace entries, third place for a door wreath.

The afternoon was filled with fun, laughter, and fellowship. It’s great to work and break bread with women who are united and wear their photo props well.

The Club is preparing for its upcoming “Picnic in the Park” and the June 15th, American Red Cross Blood Drive, it’s co-sponsoring with the Berkeley Heights Rescue Squad. Also, the 70th Anniversary committee will meet throughout the summer to plan monthly activities and events for next season to Celebrate 70 years of Philanthropy, Benevolence, and Civic Engagement, 1955-2025.
