About Betsy Mirabelli
I began painting in my teens under the instruction of Jock Mac Rae at the Bengert/Mac Rae Art Gallery in Wyckoff, N.J. Later, in the late 80’s I was working and taking classes with Elizabeth O’Reilly at Parsons and the New School in NYC. Once we moved to Morris County I began taking classes at The Visual Art Center in Summit, N.J. This is where I enjoyed learning from Nancy Korde, Anne Kullaf and Fernando Catague. I still enjoy hours painting, the camaraderie and learning there.
