Warren Township Recreation Commission will be holding their 8th Annual Winter Festival & Yuletide Bonfire on Sat, January 16th (rain date Jan 23) from 4- 7pm behind the Municipal Complex. Enjoy the entertainment of the Take Flight Dance Center production of ”HOT, HOT, HOT”! Wear your cowboy boots to join them as they lead a Country Line Dance for everyone to join; this year’s musicians include Warren’s best, Bob Marino & Warren’s Got Talent, Michael Forte plus Teen Band “Tank.” There will be carnival games and stargazing by Stonecrest Community Church.
Bring your camera and take a picture with special guests “Sparkee” from the Somerset Patriots and Olaf the snowman. Watch for our special entertainer, who will be mingling throughout the night. Bundle up with a horse & carriage ride while the kids enjoy the trackless train, carousel, playground, ice skating or sledding (weather permitting). This is a FREE event including hot chocolate and cider, marshmallow roasting plus snacks & popcorn.
Skip dinner so you can enjoy the famous Smokin’ Chicks homemade pulled pork, brisket or chicken BBQ sliders, Tacos, chicken fingers or fries for a small price. Handicap parking will be at the Elks Lodge & all other parking at the municipal lot, Bardy Road, Cooper Jewelers & PNC Bank. Don’t miss the Fireworks at 7pm!
