WESTFIELD RECREATION OFFERS. . . SPORTS, MUSIC, FITNESS, ENRICHMENT CLASSES AND MORE!

Registration is open for Winter and Spring Programs at the Westfield Recreation Department. Please register early to hold your spot in all programs offered. Adults are encouraged to get out of the house beginning with our Tai Chi program on Tuesdays at 10:00am and by joining the “party” with our Zumba Fitness Class on Mondays 7:30pm! The department also offers Adult Tennis, Cardio Tennis and Pickleball Clinics starting in in May. Adult enrichment courses offered are Adult Fashion/Sewing and Guitar for beginners or those just needing a “refresher” lesson. Senior Transportation is available for Westfield Seniors for medical and shopping rides, please call the department for details. After school Enrichment programs for kids include: Fashion Design, Junior Science Lab, Creative Art Lab, Lego Tech Plus, Comic Book Creation, Dining Etiquette, Social Etiquette, Voice Lessons, Intro to Rock, and Lego- Engineering! There is a variety to choose from and spots are still open! The department has partnered with Advanced Fencing and Fitness Academy to offer Fencing Classes for grades 2- 5 starting January 17. Come learn a new sport! Our awesome Preschool Enrichments include: Jr. Science, KinderGym, Kids Yoga classes and a new, fun Preschool Music program with PreSchool of Rock! Check out our new indoor Multi-Sport Programs offered with the US Sports Institute located at East Coast Conditioning this Winter!
Kids can “Be Active” this Spring with the department’s Tennis, Volleyball, Field Hockey, and Golf Clinics, as well as Spring Camps and weekly Soccer and Multi-Sport classes.
Mark your calendars for our annual Daddy- Daughter Dance for grades 1-6 on Sunday, March 20 and the department’s Annual Run The Park- 5K Road Race scheduled for Sunday, May 21 in Tamaques Park. Check the “Rec Room” Brochure on the department’s website for details on all programs.
