Come Find Your Next Adventure in Reading at the Children’s and Teen’s Book Sale hosted by Friends of the Westfield Memorial Library, September 19 – 25. The 10th Annual used book sale is a beloved community event. You’ll find a bountiful selection of books for babies all the way through teens. All funds raised go directly back to the library via Friends sponsored programs. It’s the perfect time to update your favorite reader’s bookshelf or your classroom library.
The two part event consists of donation days and sale days at the Westfield Memorial Library on 550 East Broad Street in Westfield. Donations of gently used books, DVDs and CDs only will be accepted on Sunday, September 19 from 1-4:30 p.m., Monday, September 20 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 on and Tuesday, September 21 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The book sale runs from Wednesday, September 22 and Thursday, September 23 from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Special events include Storytime on Thursday at 11 a.m., Half Price Day on Friday and Bag Day ($8 fills up a bag of books) on Saturday.
