High School Marching Band Honors
Westfield Public Schools
At their first competition of the season, the Westfield High School Marching Band tied for 1st place with John P. Stevens High School to receive the highest score of the 12 performing bands. The Marching Blue Devils also earned the highest scores for Best Visual and Best Effects for the New Jersey Marching Band Directors Association (NJMBDA) competition in Piscataway on October 7, 2023. This year’s marching band is under the leadership of drum majors Sarah Lincoln, Maggie Crooks, and Nick Regas.
