Westfield Library Presents Kenn Morr Band

Kenn_Morr_Promo_Shot_Cropped1The Kenn Morr Band will play at the library on Saturday, June 11th at 2:00 p.m. They play the music of Gordon Lightfoot, Simon and Garfunkel, and Jackson Browne. They also play original songs that are an organic collection of lush three-part vocal harmonies and sparkling acoustic instruments: real musicians playing soulful music.
Known for these close three-part vocal harmonies and fiery instrumental interplay, the Kenn Morr Band has been together for several years, fast becoming favorites on the outdoor festival scene.
A Long Island native, Kenn has played in many venues, including New York City’s Bitter End and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas in New Haven, CT. He has airplay across the country, Europe, and the Netherlands. At this show he’ll be joined by master percussionist Dr. Bob Gaspar, violin virtuoso and multi instrumentalist Tom Hagymasi, and melodic bassist Pat Ryan.
The programs are free and open to Westfield Memorial Library and MURAL cardholders. (MURAL cardholders belong to libraries that are part of the Middlesex Union Reciprocal Agreement Libraries.
