Gift Cards donated to Mobile Meals
“Thank you on behalf of our Mobile Meals clients,” said Josephine Walsh, Operations Manager of Mobile Meals of Westfield, in accepting food gift cards from Optimist Club and Rotary Club both of Westfield. Mobile Meals of Westfield is a non-profit organization which provides prepared meals for those individuals unable to provide meals for themselves. Mobile Meals serves the communities of Clark, Cranford, Fanwood, Garwood, Mountainside, Scotch Plains and Westfield.
The Optimist Club of Westfield food distribution program has been an annual community service project for the past 32 years. This project is made possible through the generosity and funding from the Optimist and Rotary clubs and contributions from members, friends and local organizations. The food gift cards were presented by Darielle Walsh and Tony LaPorta, Presidents of Optimist and Rotary Clubs respectively.
