Jason Spiewak, based out of Westfield, New Jersey, is a singer-piano player whose songwriting has been compared to other piano rock performers of the modern era. Spiewak tackles themes surrounding relatable experiences in life, love, and loss with a sharp tongue and an eye toward social unrest and boozy personal upheaval. His writing is generally pop-sensible, but can deliver elements of blues, rock, and Americana.
The Performance Series takes place at the Patricia M. Kuran Cultural Arts Center also known as “The Old Carriage House”. The Arts Center faces Watson Road; however, it is part of the Fanwood Borough Hall property and the actual address is 75 North Martine Avenue, Fanwood, New Jersey.
Showtime is 7 p.m. Suggested donation is $15; $10 for seniors and students.
