Journey of Peace
Warren Township Schools values their relationship with the Lions Club and continues to be appreciative of the support the club provides to the district. The club’s intentions are to bring caring people together to improve their community, lead by example and build relationships through kindness.
According to lionsclubs.org, “For over three decades, Lions Clubs around the globe have been sponsoring a very special art contest in schools and youth groups. Creating peace posters gives children everywhere the chance to express their visions of peace and inspire the world through art and creativity.” For the 2019-2020 year, the contest is titled ‘Journey of Peace.’
Coordinated by Dr. Susan Cooper, E2 teacher, students from Warren Middle School participated in the poster contest.
